Mediate in-person with a family dispute resolution specialist in a calm and dedicated location.

 What is mediation?

Most people have heard of mediation, but few have an understanding of what it really is. Simply put, mediation is trying to resolve conflict without going to court. I guess that’s a likely story coming from a lawyer! But I'm a lawyer who now practices solely as a mediator because I believe in the power of mediation and keeling people out of court.

After representing clients in court for many years I've found that many people walk out of court (sometimes years later) much poorer, totally exhausted and often feeling very disappointed. Not feeling a sense of justice. Not feeling like they have won, even if they've achieved their ultimate outcome.

Mediation on the flip side is usually a process that is arranged quickly, cost effectively and allows the parties to have control of the decisions they make.  It works because as a qualified mediator, I can facilitate a conversation and get to the bottom of what the problems really are and how we can find a solution for the future.

If you are considering booking an In-Person Mediation, then look no further than the easily accessible, centrally located, calm and spacious French Quarter Chambers and Mediation Centre. A dedicated space that is both welcoming and tranquil allowing you the comfort to focus on the task at hand.

In-Person Mediation.

If you are considering a mediation in-person then my preferred location is at French Quarter Chambers and Mediation Centre at Emerald Lakes on the Gold Coast. This serene, spacious and peaceful location is the perfect place to consider your options moving forward outside a traditional legal setting or court.

I also mediate at many other locations across South-East Queensland and Northern New South Wales with no additional travel costs, so please let in touch for more information about your chosen location.

If you are concerned about coming face-to-face with the other person, then I can arrange a shuttle mediation to take place where you are in separate rooms with me as the mediator moving between the two.
